“RASCALS” is the acronym for the Robert A. Stehlin Campaign for ALS.
Robert began the RASCALS Foundation in December 2009, shortly after doctors confirmed that his condition was symptomatic of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
Through the early stages of the disease, Robert discovered how alarmingly little is known about ALS, both among the general public as well as the medical research community. With family and friends rallying at his side, he quickly set out to establish this foundation, with the primary goal of raising the level of ALS awareness.
Indeed, Robert believes that knowledge is power, and there is strength in numbers. We hope that you will consider counting yourself among the many friends of the Foundation, and share in this legacy of spreading the message.
