NYSE Euronext Highlights World ALS Day in Netherlands

This morning, Eric Nolet, general director of the ALS Foundation of the Netherlands, opened the trading day by sounding the bell to highlight World ALS Day — or Wereld ALS Dag. During World ALS Day all ALS patients in the Netherlands are invited to participate in a day of  sharing and information.

The ALS Foundation of the Netherlands raises money for scientific research into the cause and treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a fatal disease of the nerves and muscles, and works to raise awareness of the disease. The foundation also works to improve the quality of care given to people affected by ALS.

RASCALS salutes our friends in The Netherlands.

Can you imagine a world without ALS? Let’s keep working!
